GRWM // EVERYDAY MAKEUP

Hi Readers,

Today I thought I'd do a different kind of post for me, this is my get ready with me, including the makeup I wear on a day-to-day basis. Enjoy!

First of all when doing my makeup, I always start with the MUA 'Undress Your Skin' Flawless Skin Primer. I love this, easily one of the best primers I've used, and it ensures my makeup stays in place all day.

Secondly, I do my eye makeup. Right now all I reach for is my Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette, which I think is absolutely gorgeous. I start with the lighter tones in the first row of shades (always using my RealTechniques Brushes). I then layer this with some of the more neutral shades like Zone and Anaheim for a neutral, everyday look.

Next, I line my eyelids with this, the MUA Eye Define, Volume & Line Mascara. As much as I don't love this mascara, the eyeliner crayon is pretty good, even though you have to be aware of smudges quite often. I follow this with mascara, usually Benefit's 'They're Real!' which is my all time favourite.
Next I move onto my base, which I like to do after my eye makeup just in case I make a mess of my eyeliner or eyeshadow, it's less effort to redo! I swear by this foundation, the DiorSkin Forever Foundation is amazing, gives such good coverage and lasts as long as I need it to throughout the day. It's expensive, but it lasts and is definitely worth the money.
Next I use a concealer, which is a product I have not yet found a favourite of. Just now I am using the Match Perfection Foundation & Concealer from Rimmel London, which isn't too bad at covering things like red patches and dark circles.

Lastly, I fill in my eyebrows using this L'Oreal Eyebrow Pencil (I've had this for so long that the product name has come off the pencil, so I'm not 100% sure what it's called - sorry!). This is not what I'd use if I was going out or to a special occasion, but for everyday use it is quick, simple and effective.

I then finish off with a bit of lipstick or lipgloss, usually something like Pink Plaid by Mac as it's a cute, neutral shade that isn't too vibrant for everyday use. And that's it! My super simple routine for everyday makeup. I hope you enjoyed this post, and if anyone has any blusher, concealer or primer recommendations please let me know by leaving a comment, or catch me on;
